The American Red Cross Lifeguard Course prepares participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. This comprehensive program includes training in water rescue skills, surveillance and patron safety, emergency response, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid.
Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and scenario-based training, participants will develop the confidence and decision-making skills required to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. The course follows American Red Cross standards and emphasizes teamwork, communication, and professionalism in aquatic environments.
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, including written and skills assessments, participants will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, valid for two years and widely accepted for employment at pools, waterparks, and aquatic facilities.
